A solid read

This book is a great horror novel with some side plots that allow for a break from the gore. While some of the dialogue seems forced, the character's backstories are well written and the author strives to put the reader in the minds of many different characters. If you read this book, you will NOT find the majority of the story predictable or trite, as the author ignores horror tropes and expectations.
This is obviously not a formally published novel, so you'll find grammar mistakes and maybe a plot hole or two, but you will also find yourself turning pages to find out the conclusion.

Mindquake

Author has a good conversation style. I like the way his characters interact and are loyal to each other. The ending was a little violent for my taste, but fits in with the horror genre pretty well. He has a good command of the language, but sometimes tries too hard.
Will appeal to fans of creepy, menacing books where a group must grow together to meet an evil force.
